AGCOM info for influencers
What resolution 197/25/CONS requires
AGCOM resolution 197/25/CONS introduces transparency obligations for influencers with more than 500,000 followers on at least one platform who produce content with a commercial purpose.
What you have to do
- Register on the AGCOM influencer list once you cross the threshold.
- Label commercial content clearly and recognisably with #ADV.
- Disclose the commercial relationship even when the content uses a different format (stories, reels, posts).
How BodyBid helps
- The sponsorship contract includes the #ADV labelling obligation.
- The post-race report documents the commercial relationship and its duration.
- If you are above 500,000 followers, you cannot join the athlete list until you are registered on the AGCOM list.
Note
This page is an informative summary, not legal advice. The official text of the resolution published on the AGCOM website prevails.
